A very thought out story. It has an eerie sense of mystery as the haunting soundtrack follows the protagonist. The dramatic peaks accented the slow building tension keeping me attentive. The lead actress shows a natural talent for the craft. The camera shot coverage was excellent and I liked the ending a lot too. Fantastic.
Clare is a typical teenage girl who wants to grow up fast and be able to make her own decisions. Her parents are very much aware of her need for independence, but are unwilling to let go so easily. Clare's older neighbor, Mrs. Bettman, cautions her against wanting something that she will regret later in life, that is, growing old too fast. She offers Clare a magic ring that grants Clare her most fervent wish. But Clare soon discovers that some wishes should never be granted.
